Fluent language speakers and learners recognized in Yukon graduation ceremony
The Yukon Native Language Centre held a recognition and graduation ceremony on Friday in Whitehorse. Twelve fluent speakers were honoured for preserving their languages, along with 11 learners who completed a language profiency program. CBC’s Marissa Meilleur went to the event at the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre and has this report.
